Status Public on Feb 26, 2015
Title cont115
Sample type RNA

Source name control
Organism Mus musculus
Characteristics strain background: B6C3F1
gender: male
age: 7 days
treated with: deionized water alone (dH2O, control)
tissue: liver
Treatment protocol Dichloroacetic acid (CAS 79-43-6, Aldrich, Milwaukee, WI) and phenobarbital (PB) (CAS 50-06-6, Sima Chemical Co., St.Louis, MO) were administered in the drinking water.
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol Approximately 20 mg of archived frozen liver tissue was homogenized in RNAzol®RT ( Molecular Research Center, Cincinnati, Ohio) using ceramic beads in the Precellys® 24 homogenizer (Bertin Technologies, Villeurbanne, France).
Label biotin
Label protocol Biotin-labeled cRNA was produced from 200ng total RNA using the Illumina TotalPrep RNA Amplification kit (cat# AMIL1791).

Hybridization protocol Samples were hybridized on to (Mouse Ref-8 V2.0 Expression BeadChip) which a multi sample format allowing 8 samples per chip
Scan protocol Arrays were scanned on the iScan module and raw data (.idat files) were obtained using the illumina iScan control software Operating Software (version v3.3.28) and analyzed by GenomeStudio® (Illumina Inc.)
Description GRC225-EC115; The GRC# is the study# and the EC# is the animal number
Data processing For analysis of microarray data, raw intensities were quantile normalized from the Illumina Genome Studio® (Illumina Inc.).
