Title |
OC1-KO embryo 2 |
Sample type |
RNA |
Source name |
OC1-KO embryonic retina at E14
Organism |
Mus musculus |
Characteristics |
strain background: mixed tissue: retina Stage: E14 onecut genotype: OC1-KO
Treatment protocol |
Embryos were removed from the dam and retinas were isolated, then washed in 1X PBS.
Growth protocol |
The original Onecut1 deficient mice were obtained and cross by us to C57Bl/6 for a few generations. The mice were described in Jacquemin P. et al, 2000 and were from R1 ES cells injected into a "Swiss" strain of mice. Littermates were allowed to develop normally in utero until age E14, when they were harvested from the pregnant dam.
Extracted molecule |
total RNA |
Extraction protocol |
Trireagent extraction of total RNA was performed according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Label |
biotin
Label protocol |
Total RNA wa amplified, biotinylated, and fragmented using the Ambion MessageAmp III RNA amplification kit according to manufacturer's instructions.
Hybridization protocol |
Amplified RNA was hybridized to Affymetrix GeneChip Mouse Genome 430 2.0 arrays at the Iowa State University GeneChip Facility.
Scan protocol |
Amplified RNA was scanned from Affymetrix GeneChip Mouse Genome 430 2.0 arrays at the Iowa State University GeneChip Facility.
Description |
Gene expression information from isolated E14 retinas
Data processing |
The data were analyzed with Microarray Suite version 5.0 (MAS 5.0) using Affymetrix default analysis settings and global scaling as normalization method.
