Title Clinical and molecular characterization of steatotic liver disease in the setting of immune-mediated inflammatory diseases
Organism Homo sapiens
Experiment type Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary Growing evidence suggests an increased prevalence of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) in the context of immune-mediated inflammatory diseases (IMIDs).
We aimed to clinically and mechanistically characterize a prospective cohort of IMID-NAFLD patients compared to classic-NAFLD patients.

Overall design Comparative gene expression analysis of RNA-seq data from freshly frozen liver biopsies of IMID-NAFLD and classic-NAFLD patients.
