Title |
scRNA-Seq of peripheral CD8 T cells from patients with metastatic melanoma taking ICI therapy. |
Organism |
Homo sapiens |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
Patients with metastatic melanoma have been treated with the new class of drug named immune checkpoint inhibitors. Single-cell RNA-sequencing was performed in circulating CD8+ T cells isolated by cell sorting from 20 patients who were followed for 6 months. Among them, 11 responded to therapy, whilst 9 did not. Overall, the data obtained by sc-RNA seq showed the presence of MAIT cells, that had higher levels in those who showed a better response to treatment.

Overall design |
scRNA-Seq of peripheral CD8 T cells obtained from 20 melanoma patients (11 Responders and 9 Non-Responders) before (T0), after first (T1) and second (T2) cycle of ICI therapy. Almost all samples were sequenced in four replicates.
