Title |
RNA-seq of manually sorted transgenically labeled sNPFr-Gal4 and TRH-Gal4 drosphila neurons |
Organism |
Drosophila melanogaster |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
RNA-seq was used to molecularly characterize two drosophila neuron subtypes with demonstrated roles in the modulation of aggression
|
|
|
Overall design |
Small pools (15-60 cells) and single cells were manually sorted from protease digested, acutely dissociated (TRH-Gal4) or pinned (sNPFR-Gal4) fly brains, cDNA was synthesized and amplified using SMART-Seq v4 kit (Takara), and RNA-seq libraries were prepared using Nextera XT kit (Illumina)
