Located in centriole; motile cilium; and photoreceptor connecting cilium. Part of kinesin II complex. Is active in glutamatergic synapse and postsynapse. Is expressed in several structures, including gonad; liver; nervous system; node; and spleen. Used to study dysostosis; polycystic kidney disease; and polycystic kidney disease 1.
