    1. JMJ24 has a role in transposon silencing by antagonizing H3K9me2 through locus-specific interactions.
      Title: A JUMONJI Protein with E3 Ligase and Histone H3 Binding Activities Affects Transposon Silencing in Arabidopsis.
    2. Results find that jmj24 mutations produced a number of developmental defects. The jmj24 mutations could complement defects of plant growth and gene expression caused by the ibm1 mutation. These data complement previous results and suggests JMJ24 may have a function that counteracts IBM1/ JMJ25 in gene expression and may be involved in different pathways of gene silencing.
