    Encodes a novel nuclear protein required for root hair initiation and ploidy-dependent cell growth. Its sequence has similarity to the C-terminal domain of mammalian DNA topo IIalpha. Shows in vitro DNA binding activity and is likely to be part of the topo VI complex by binding to subunit A.
