Summary: Encodes a member of a plant-specific class of histone deacetylases. Controls the development of adaxial/abaxial leaf polarity. Its mRNA is widely expressed in stems, leaves, flowers and young siliques. Plant lines expressing RNAi constructs directed against this gene showed a marked reduction in agrobacterium-mediated root transformation.
