    1. DHR3 and betaFTZ-F1 activate the EDG84A gene in a redundant manner. The temporal expression of the EDG84A gene is mainly controlled by betaFTZ-F1 but that the binding of DHR3 is also important.
      Title: The binding of multiple nuclear receptors to a single regulatory region is important for the proper expression of EDG84A in Drosophila melanogaster.
    2. The EDG84A gene encoding pupal cuticle protein is one of the targets of ecdysteroid-inducible transcription factor betaFTZ-F1 and is expressed only in anterior epidermis of the body during mid- to late prepupal period.
