    Also known as
    AtVAB1; V-ATPase B subunit 1; VHA-B1
    Summary
One of three genes encoding the vacuolar ATP synthase subunit B1. This subunit was shown to interact with the gene product of hexokinase1 (ATHXK1). This interaction, however, is solely restricted to the nucleus. The protein binds to and co-localizes with F-actin, bundles F-actin to form higher-order structure, and stabilizes actin filaments in vitro.
