Summary
Encodes a plasma membrane#Aeilocalized ABA receptor, which interacts with the Galphabetagamma complex. It has been postulated that the binding of ABA to GCR2 results in the release of the G protein and dissociation of the heterotrimeric complex into Galpha and the Gbetagamma dimer to activate downstream ABA effectors and to trigger the ABA responses.
