Summary
At5g48930 has been shown to encode for the hydroxycinnamoyl-Coenzyme A shikimate/quinate hydroxycinnamoyltransferase (HCT) both synthesizing and catabolizing the hydroxycinnamoylesters (coumaroyl/caffeoyl shikimate and quinate) involved in the phenylpropanoid pathway.
