Enables myosin phosphatase activity. Involved in several processes, including associative learning; chromosome organization; and positive regulation of signal transduction. Located in polytene chromosome. Part of protein phosphatase type 1 complex. Is expressed in adult head; embryonic/larval salivary gland; and spermatozoon. Used to study type 2 diabetes mellitus.
