Part of beta-catenin destruction complex. Is expressed in several structures, including epidermis; motor neurons; neuron projection bundle of larval ventral nerve cord; presumptive embryonic/larval nervous system; and tendon cell. Used to study colorectal cancer and familial adenomatous polyposis 1. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in several diseases, including Sotos syndrome 3; autosomal recessive intellectual developmental disorder 74; carcinoma (multiple); gastrointestinal system cancer (multiple); and reproductive organ cancer (multiple).
