Located in cytosol. Is expressed in several structures, including adult head; adult heart; embryonic/larval midgut primordium; larval muscle cell; and somatic trunk mesoderm derivative. Used to study Lafora disease. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in cardiovascular system disease and glycogen storage disease.
