Naa80 - N(alpha)-acetyltransferase 80
Enables peptide alpha-N-acetyltransferase activity. Involved in N-terminal peptidyl-aspartic acid acetylation and N-terminal peptidyl-glutamic acid acetylation. Predicted to be active in cytoplasm. Is expressed in several structures, including central brain primordium; ganglia; germline cell; gonad; and ventral nerve cord primordium. Orthologous to human NAA80 (N-alpha-acetyltransferase 80, NatH catalytic subunit). [provided by Alliance of Genome Resources, Dec 2024]
