Located in several cellular components, including cell cortex; clathrin-coated vesicle; and mitotic spindle. Part of clathrin coat of coated pit and clathrin vesicle coat. Is expressed in adult head; adult heart; and embryonic/larval neuromuscular junction. Orthologous to human CLTA (clathrin light chain A) and CLTB (clathrin light chain B).
