Contributes to RNA polymerase II general transcription initiation factor activity. Involved in DNA-templated transcription. Located in nucleus. Part of transcription factor TFIID complex and transcription factor TFIIIB complex. Is expressed in several structures, including germline cell; male accessory gland; seminal vesicle; terminal filament; and testis. Used to study neurodegenerative disease.
