Involved in several processes, including imaginal disc growth; imaginal disc-derived appendage morphogenesis; and regulation of tube length, open tracheal system. Located in plasma membrane. Is expressed in several structures, including anlage in statu nascendi; epithelium; head epidermis primordium; imaginal disc; and organism subdivision. Used to study obesity.
