Summary
This record represents a region containing multiple origins of DNA replication located within the intergenic spacer of the 45 kb ribosomal DNA repeat. These origins may function ectopically on a plasmid. Members of the origin recognition complex are recruited to this sequence. This region also contains DNase I hypersensitive sites and a sequence element that shows intrinsic bending ability. [provided by RefSeq, Mar 2016]
Annotation information
Note: GeneID:107403166 represents a portion of the ribosomal DNA repeat. Ribosomal DNA repeats are not present in the GRCm38 reference assembly, and therefore, this locus may not be present in the current annotation. [23 Mar 2016]

RefSeqs maintained independently of Annotated Genomes

These reference sequences exist independently of genome builds. Explain

These reference sequences are curated independently of the genome annotation cycle, so their versions may not match the RefSeq versions in the current genome build. Identify version mismatches by comparing the version of the RefSeq in this section to the one reported in Genomic regions, transcripts, and products above.
