Hexamethylene diisocyanate effect on lungs: time course

Analysis of lungs from C57BL/6J males exposed to hexamethylene diisocyanate biuret trimer (HDI-BT) for 5 hours. HDI-BT is a major component of polyurethane spray paints and HDI-BT inhalation is a cause of occupational lung disease. Lungs examined at various time points up to 90 hours after exposure.
