Gene expression analysis of total B, CD4+ T and epithelial cells in lacrimal glands from the NOD mouse model of Sjogren's syndrome

(Submitter supplied) Despite being one of the most common rheumatologic diseases, there is still no disease-modifying drug for primary Sjögren’s syndrome (pSS). Advancing our knowledge of the target tissue has been limited by the low dimensionality of histology techniques and the small size of human salivary gland biopsies. The goal of this study was to characterize the gene expression profile of total B cells, CD4+ T cells and epithelial cells in the target tissue of the most commonly-used model of pSS (the NOD model of pSS characterized by severe dacryoadenitis developing in males between 8 and 16 weeks of age).

Single-cell RNA Sequencing reveals the expansion of Cytotoxic CD4+ T lymphocytes and the heterogeneity of pathogenesis in primary Sjögren’s syndrome patients

(Submitter supplied) By single cell RNA sequencing, our data revealed disease-specific immune cell subsets and provide some potential new targets of pSS, specific expansion of CD4+ CTLs may be involved in the pathogenesis of pSS, which might give a valuable insights for therapeutic interventions of pSS.

Transcriptome analysis of CCR9+, CXCR5+ and CCR9-CXCR5- Th cells in primary Sjögren's syndrome (pSS) patients and healthy controls (HC)

(Submitter supplied) CCR9+ Tfh-like pathogenic T helper (Th) cells are elevated in patients with primary Sjögren’s syndrome (pSS) and indicated to play a role in pSS immunopathology. CCR9+, CXCR5+ and CCR9-CXCR5- (double negative, DN) Th cells from blood of 7 healthy controls (HC) and 7 pSS patients were FACS sorted and RNA sequencing was performed. Our aim is to delineate the CCR9+ Th cell-specific transcriptome to study the molecular dysregulation of these cells in pSS patients. more...

Murine hepatocellular carcinoma of AlbLTa/b transgenic mice and age matched C57BL/6 mice - 18 months old.

(Submitter supplied) aCGH analysis of murine transgenic liver tissues affected with HCC, hybridized with age (18 months) and sex matched C57BL/6 mice. Moreover, 18months old C57BL/6 livers were hybridized with independent 18 months old C57BL/6 livers for control. Keywords: Array comparative genomic hybridization analysis (aCGH).

LTβR controls thymic portal endothelial cells for hematopoietic progenitor cell homing and T cell regeneration

(Submitter supplied) Continuous thymic homing of hematopoietic progenitor cells (HPCs) via the blood is critical for normal T cell development. However, the nature and the differentiation program of the specialized thymic endothelial cells (ECs) controlling this process remain poorly understood. Here, using conditional gene-deficient mice, we find that lymphotoxin beta receptor (LTβR) directly controls thymic ECs to guide HPC homing. more...

Gene expression profile of the Myd88 gene depletion on mouse salivary glands

(Submitter supplied) MyD88 is an important adaptor protein for signal transduction downstream of Toll-like receptors and TACI, receptors for regulation of innate immunity and B cell responses, respectively. The surfaces of oral mucosa are protected from infections by antimicrobial proteins and natural immunoglobulins that are constantly secreted in saliva, serving as principal innate immune defense in the oral cavity. Although MyD88-mediated signaling has a regulatory role in the intestinal mucosal immunity, its specific role in the oral cavity has been remained elusive. more...

Gene expression profile of primary human naive and memory CD4+ T lymphocytes.

(Submitter supplied) Gene expression data of primary human naive and memory CD4+T lymphocytes purified from peripheral blood are generated to be analyzed in different ways such as for traditional searching of differentially expressed genes between the two cell subsets or in combination to in-silico data of microRNAs target prediction for microRNAs known to be characteristically expressed in the two cell subsets.

Microarray analysis of salivary gland CD4+ T cells

(Submitter supplied) Whole human genome arrays were used to assess the transcriptome differences in CD3+CD4+CD45RA- memory T cells isolated and sorted from minor salivary gland biopsy tissue of individuals who met 2002 American European Consensus Group classification criteria for primary Sjogren’s syndrome (SS) and subjects who did not meet criteria for SS, lacked focal lymphocytic sialoadenitis, lacked anti-Ro antibodies, lacked anti-La antibodies, but who had subjective symptoms of dryness (non-SS, sicca controls).
