Expression analysis in A431_wt vs A431_GR cells

(Submitter supplied) A431 wild-type (wt) cancer cell line is sensitive to treatment with EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs). By culturing it chronically under gefitinib, it eventually becomes resistant (A431_GR cell). We know of a few proteins involved in this mechanism of drug resistance, but a cDNA exprssion array would add information to other genes that might be involved in this resistance mechanism. Effect of a dual specificity PI3K/mTOR inhibitor, NVP-BEZ235, on human ovarian cancer cell lines grown in 3D culture

(Submitter supplied) Analysis of the effects of a dual specificity PI3K/mTOR inhibitor on two human ovarian cell lines, OV2008 and MCAS. Results provide insight into the adaptive response to PI3K/mTOR inhibition in matrix attached ovarian cancer cells. The PI3K/mTOR-pathway is the most commonly deregulated pathway in epithelial cancers and thus represents an important target for cancer therapeutics.
