Colistin effect on the kidney

Analysis of kidneys from C57BL/6J males following treatment with colistin. Colistin is an antibiotic prescribed for multidrug resistant gram negative bacterial infections. It is associated with nephrotoxicity. Results provide insight into the molecular basis of colistin nephrotoxicity.
