XapX domain This model describes an uncharacterized small, hydrophobic protein of about 50 amino acids, found between the xapB and xapR genes of the E. coli xanthosine utilization system, and homologous regions in other small proteins, such as the N-terminal region of DUF1427 (pfam07235).
