EthD domain
This family consists of several bacterial sequences which are related to the EthD protein of Rhodococcus ruber. In Rhodococcus ruber, EthD is thought to be involved in the degradation of ethyl tert-butyl ether (ETBE). EthD synthesis is induced by ETBE but it's exact function is unknown, it is however thought to be essential to the ETBE degradation system.
