Pseudomonas syringae pv. actinidifoliorum (Psaf) causes necrotic symptoms on leaves of Actinidia chinensis and Actinidiae deliciosa. Psaf is classified by MLSA into four lineages (Cunty et al., 2014) and included in the G3 + G8 complexis described by Bull et al. (2011) as Pseudomonas syringae pv actinidiae. Here, we briefly describe the genome sequencing of strain CFBP8161 belonging to the lineage L1 of Psaf.
