In the context of the GABI-TFs project (PI: Bernd Weisshaar; GABI-TFs was a part of the German plant genomics program GABI, FKZ 0312276N), a set of transcription factor ORFs was generated. The ORFs were generated by RT-PCR using cDNA from various A. thaliana tissues as a template, transferred into an GATEWAY vector and combined with complementary transcription factor ORFs from the REGIA project. For end-sequencing at the DNA core facility of the MPI of Plant Breeding Research (ADIS; head: Bernd Weisshaar), the clones were arrayed into 96-well plates and plasmid DNA was prepared.
