sample typePathological examination was conducted on diseased live fish. A small amount of liver tissue sample was taken using a sterilized inoculum, and then streak inoculated onto a regular nutrient agar medium. The sample was incubated in a constant temperature incubator at 28 for 24 hours. The dominant single colony was selected and transferred to pancreatic soy protein peptone broth (TSB) for overnight cultivation for 16-20 hours. The sample was then divided into 2mL sterile tubes and sterilized with glycerol to reach a content of 30%. The overnight activated bacterial solution was then frozen in a -80 refrigerator and handed over to Shanghai Shenggong Biotechnology Co., Ltd. for second-generation whole genome sequencing using the HiSeq2500 platform.
