Genome Information for Mycoplasma mycoides
To identify essential genes in this organism toward generating a minimal cell only containing genes required for growth in a laboratory environment, we conducted transposon-mediated mutagenesis and identified sites of transposon insertion in the genome using 454 sequencing.
