Genome Information for Oryza sativa
To compare the bacterial communities in seedlings of two rice cultivars, Nipponbare (a Japonica cultivar) and Nona-Bokra (an Indica cultivar), we conducted 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing using total DNA extracted from the 7-day-old seedlings of these cultivars. The sequencing was performed with an Illumina MiSeq sequencer.
