Rhizobium petrolearium =? 'Rhizobium phenanthrenilyticum'
Wen et al. (2011) designate strain F11 (= DSM 21882 = CCTCC AB 209029) as the type strain of the effectively published species 'Rhizobium phenanthrenilyticum'. Zhang et al. (2012) subsequently assign it as a nontype strain of the validly published species Rhizobium petrolearium, but make no reference to the work of Wen et al. Both manuscripts give the accession number FJ743436 for the sequence data of strain F11.
