Rho termination factor N-terminal domain-containing protein which may bind nucleic acid; similar to Arabidopsis thaliana RHON1 which is involved in processing of plastid ribonucleic acids, and to rice OsBP-73 which interacts in vitro with the promoter of the nuclear waxy gene in rice; contains the N-terminal domain of transcription termination factor Rho; transcription termination factor Rho is an ATP-dependent RNA/DNA helicase that facilitates transcription termination; SAP domain-containing protein may bind DNA or RNA, similar to Homo sapiens MEF2-activating motif and SAP domain-containing transcriptional regulator (MAMSTR), a transcriptional coactivator that stimulates the transcriptional activity of MEF2C; SAP domain-containing protein may bind DNA or RNA, similar to Mus musculus SAP domain-containing ribonucleoprotein that binds both single-stranded and double-stranded DNA with higher affinity for the single-stranded form; SAP domain-containing protein similar to Rattus norvegicus SAP domain-containing ribonucleoprotein that specifically binds to scaffold/matrix attachment region DNA and also binds single-stranded RNA
