The core fold of the EGF domain consists of two small beta-hairpins packed against each other. They are found in blood coagulation proteins such as fibrillin, Clr and Cls, thrombomodulin, and the LDL receptor. The core fold of the EGF domain consists of two small beta-hairpins packed against each other.
